Introduction

The Film Industry Incubator, managed by Ida-Viru Enterprise Centre (IVEK), aims to foster the creative economy within Estonia’s audiovisual sector. It offers support to both active and aspiring entrepreneurs through mentoring, counseling, and training, helping them develop their businesses. The incubator also facilitates networking opportunities with professionals in the film production industry.

 

The Incubator offers you

  • A mentor who is assigned to each participant in the programme to be there when you need them, and who is an expert in film and multimedia
  • Business consultants who advise on entrepreneurship issues and can give you an external perspective
  • An incubation period of up to 12 months
  • The chance to promote your service or product through the incubator as one of the initiators of the innovation centre
  • An entry in the database that we distribute to film production professionals
  • The chance to join a network of similar entrepreneurs
  • The opportunity to connect with a community of like-minded entrepreneurs and build relationships with professionals working in film production

Joining the Programme

  • Most activities take place online, so you can participate from anywhere in Estonia
  • Programme participants communicate and exchange information on a shared online platform
  • Participants will learn the essentials of film production, marketing, business planning, and the green and circular economies
  • The online platform has a training calendar with information on workshops, training sessions, and networking events
  • The programme is promoted through the incubator’s social media channels

To join the programme, you must

 

  • have a business or if you are applying to the program as an individual, you are ready to establish a company during the program.
  • be fluent in Estonian and English.
  • be a motivated and committed individual, ready to actively participate
